The Funhouse residents are the only priority. They shall have opportunities to participate in stimulating activities they enjoy while minimizing risks to their safety.

The activities offered at the Funhouse match the interests and abilities of the persons served, stimulating the whole person. This is generalized to other times of their day (common anecdotal reports by family members that the persons served are more attentive and communicative when interacted with away from the Funhouse). Each day’s activities at the Funhouse are based on a theme for that week and day. Experiential is the mode employed by the staff as they engage the persons served in activities that attempt to involve a multitude of senses.The persons served are the only priority. They shall have opportunities to participate in stimulating activities they enjoy while minimizing risks to their safety.

The FunHouse provides in house multi-sensory activities (Active Treatment) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for developmentally disabled residents of Enrich inc. (target population) whose Interdisciplinary team has chosen this option rather than a Day Training and Habilitation program. The Funhouse is an extension of their Enrich home as the staff that knows them and their programs so well will work both in their home and at the Fun house. The Funhouse will provide service only to persons that are a resident of an Enrich home.

Regularly scheduled use of community resources is part of the Funhouse experience, with transportation provided by staff. This would include bowling alley, stores, restaurants, library, community center, parks, and any enjoyable site that comes to mind

Transportation:
Enrich inc. staff provides all transportation and are reimbursed for the use of their cars.

Meals:
Persons served at the Fun house bring their lunches for the day. Snacks before and after lunch are provided by the Fun house.

Licensing:
License is granted by the Minnesota Commissioner of Human Services under Minnesota Rules, parts 9555.9600 through 9555.9730 and may be suspended, revoked or made conditional if Enrich inc. fails to comply fully with applicable laws or rules.
